Our Services and Techniques
Our doctors are thorough and use a variety of techniques, with diversified technique being the most common. They will always ensure that you are comfortable with whichever techniques they are using. Our clinics offer state-of-the-art therapies including:
Trigger Point Therapy and Vibracussor
Trigger point therapy targets hypersensitive areas in order to help the muscles return to a normal resting state.
Active Rehabilitation
Active rehabilitation strengthens the ligaments, muscles, and tendons. This helps you to heal faster and stay healthy by developing correct functioning in the body and decreasing the chances of injury recurrence.
Spinal Decompression
Spinal decompression is a non-surgical treatment that reduces pressure in the spinal column. It can be used to treat back and neck pain, as well as herniated discs and degenerative disc diseases.
Intersegmental Traction
Intersegmental traction is a passive therapy that unlocks fixation in the spine and helps to increase flexibility. It also strengthens ligaments in the spine in order to prevent vertebral misalignment.
Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS)
EMS uses a low-voltage electrical current to trigger muscle contraction. This helps reduce muscle spasm and can be used to treat localized pain and rehabilitate muscle functioning.
Ultrasound
Ultrasound uses high-frequency sound targeted at soft-tissue areas. The sound waves penetrate beneath the skin and cause vibrations, which in turn generate heat. This therapy encourages faster healing by reducing muscle spasms and increasing blood flow.
Cold Laser Therapy
Cold laser therapy uses a low-intensity laser that generates light, but not heat. It helps muscles heal by stimulating the body’s immune response and reducing inflammation.
Qi-Gong
Qi-gong can help you stay healthy by increasing the body’s immune functioning. It can also be used for rehabilitation and pain management.
Cervical Traction
Cervical traction uses a roller to apply pressure in an upward direction. This strengthens ligaments in the neck, which helps to maintain vertebral alignment. Proper alignment can reduce pressure on the nerves in the neck.
Interactive Metronome (only available at select locations)
This is a brain-based therapy that improves motor functioning and mental functioning (e.g. planning, organization, attention, language). It can be helpful for patients suffering from a wide range of ailments including Alzheimer’s, stroke, autism, Parkinson’s, attention deficit disorder, cerebral palsy, and dyslexia.
